- SurfStats Website Traffic Analyzer Enterprise Edition and SurfStatsLive
Enterprise can analyze and report on Streaming media activity. A wide range of
log formats are supported including Windows Media Server.
Log file
formats are automatically detected and recognized e.g. Windows Media Server log
files. Both products are log analyzers which can analyze log files.
- Average Clip Viewing Time for Streaming Media. This metric is available after report generation in the
Top Clips report in the Clip Reports section. It shows the average time in seconds for which a particular clip was viewed.
 Tips
- Use this metric in combination with Clip Requests metric to determine clip popularity.
- Click the image in the Trend column to view the clip popularity over time.
- Better Streaming Media Player Identification. This report is available after report generation in the
Top Player report in the Player Reports section. It shows the top players used to access the
streaming media content.
 Tips
- Use this report to optimize your media content for the most popular media players.
- Detail Bandwidth Usage. This metric is available after report generation in the
Top Clips report in the Clip Reports section. It shows the total bandwidth used to view a particular clip.
 Tips
- Use this metric to determine the bandwidth usage per clip and for billing purposes.
- Branding Streaming Media Reports. Report output to be generated in PDF format can be branded, which will replace the SurfStats logo.

Report Output and Export Options for Streaming Media . Reports can be outputted to folder, FTP or emailed. Reports can be exported to PDF, MS Word, MS Excel and Text Format.

Both Log analyzers, SurfStats Website Traffic Analyzer and SurfStatsLive are
capable of Windows Media Server log analysis.
