Web site stats error reports

You can prevent web page errors from occurring by examining your web site error reports as supplied by your statistics provider and take steps to prevent it. Oh, your hosted service does not supply error reports? Well, both SurfStats Log Analyzer and SurfStatsLive Reporting Server does.

The error reports give you a picture of links on your web site that are not working, restricted areas of your site that users are trying to get in to, attacks on your server like for instance the nimda virus. It also can show you files on your web site that users and robots tried to access e.g. the robots.txt file, which might not be present or be present in the wrong directory. It can be a valuable tool to make sure your web site is functioning properly.

There are currently 4 error reports available for SurfStats Log Analyzer and SurfStatsLive Reporting Server as shown below.
